Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari and his Somalia counterpart Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Kenya on Wednesday for an interdenominational memorial service in honour of KDF soldiers killed in an attack by Al-Shabaab in El-Adde.
Mr Buhari landed at the Eldoret International Airport shortly after 2.30 p.m and received full State honours including a 21-gun salute from KDF officers.
Immediately after the arrival ceremonies, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his guest left for Moi Barracks in Eldoret for the memorial service.
Mr Mohamud jetted into the country earlier Wednesday morning and was received at Eldoret International Airport by Deputy President William Ruto, Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed and other senior government officials.

Last week, the President led other political leaders and government officials at a similar service held at the Armed Forces Memorial Hospital in Nairobi.
